A Memory DVD, which will include photos and music, will be produced for Seniors to view the evening of the 2009 Helias Project Graduation event as well as giving a copy of the DVD to each Graduate as a gift. Senior Parents: What we are asking from you is to help your daughter or son start collecting pictures of the past four years at Helias High School. Due to the Senior enrollment, we are asking only 10 pictures from each Senior of the following (academics, sports, extra-curricular activities, and other events that pertain to Helias High School.) Group photographs may be submitted, but please try to limit the number of formal homecoming and prom pictures. In the past, there has been "hundreds" submitted and it is difficult to sort through them to determine the duplicates. We are asking that you submit your 10 pictures as digital images with the highest resolution possible on a CD with your daughter and son's name. These CD's will not be returned to you. If you can only give pictures then make copies, again with your daughter and son's name, for these as well will not be returned. Music: We will include the class song that the Seniors will vote on separately. If there are other songs that your Senior has enjoyed during the last four years, please submit those names as well. Please be advised that these songs will be screened very carefully, so any songs with inappropriate lyrics or with lyrics that we as parents cannot understand will not bu used. Submit your song suggestions anytime until February 28th, 2009. E-mail the names of the songs along with the artist or group to Laura Scheuler at: slscheuler@earthlink.net. February 28th, 2009 is the date when all 10 photos of your student is due on a CD. This is so we may compile them for the DVD as evenly as possible and be able to include everyone. Don't worry, we will be asking to collect last minute pictures of spring events to insert in. It is our intention to include as many photos in the DVD as possible. Our wish is for your Graduate to be included in this DVD; but in order for this to happen, we need your assistance. Please drop off photo CD's or copies of photos at the Helias Business Office in an envelope marked with the student's name and Project Graduation 2009 DVD Pictures, Attention: Laura Scheuler. Please feel free to contact the Memory DVD Committee if you have any questions.
